NY,NY 1 - 2001年12月31日(月)
arrive in the morning.
it is not that cold that i had imagined.
take the bus to Queens, and then take the subway to the timessquare.
lunch at Mac, then headed to the Araddin Hostel.
problem1
our name was not on the resevation list.
so they quickly put us in vacant room- COED.
our roommate was Columbian guy, who speak little English.
well, my Spanish is not so good that i cannot communicate with him successfully(T_T)
also the room was not ready, so we are going out and hunging around there for 1 hour.
I bought a camera.
it was lucky that we came here in Big BIg sale season.
after we came back to the room, we took a nap for a few hours.
and then we tried to go New Amsterdam Theatre(Lion King)....
Problem 2
the police closed almost all the way to the times square.
we went 38th, then 42nd, 45th, but they did not let us in.
finally i burst into tears caz they are so mean and all the policemen told us the different things.
we gave uo meeting our friednds, and go 49th and wainted for...4 hours? 5hours?
it was really cold at night.
but we met some Chilenos and we had fun talking and stuff.
one lady ga MORASHITA no niha
I really surprised.
although we cannot get to the times square, iot was kind a fun and beautiful.
at last, there was KAMIFUBUKI.
and then we went to the hostel.
that night, the heater was braken, so it was really freezing.....
