Hope you all well?
I have now made some bookings for places to stay and the schedule is as follows:
29 Aug 03 Arrive at Heathrow and travel to the Union Jack Club (Military Hotel) and stay over 1 night.
30 Aug Spend the day visiting the museums you would
like to see. Early evening travel to Colchester by train.
31 Aug Spend the day relaxing in Colchester. We intend
to have a barbecue in the afternoon and invite a few friends around- a sort of meet and greet period.
1 Sep Travel early to Wiltshire to view Stonehenge.
Travel to Liverpool, by car, and stay 2 nights at the
Liverpool Moat House Hotel, visiting the Magical Mystery Tour in between. We will be with you throughout this visit.
2 Sep Visit as above and any other site of interest
within Liverpool. I have not booked the Magical.....tour yet.
3 Sep Return to Colchester via Ilkeston, to visit
Ros' son Scott and Lucy, with their new born girl (28th July),
called Sophie Louise-she is very pretty and we are proud grandparents!!
4 Sep A day in Colchester to visit wherever you would
like to go.
5 Sep Due to us going to Marham this afternoon for a
social function in the Sgts' Mess, I will be taking you to
Heathrow this morning. This will give you some time in London to do some shopping if you need to.
I hope this will be to your satisfaction and, of course, if you have any questions I will be happy to answer them.

海にもプールにも行く元気がないので、YUMAに誘われて
風呂で水遊び。
浴槽に1/3ほど水を入れ、水のかけっこに始まり、水鉄砲で小一時間あそぶ。
すっかり汗も引いて、すっきりさわやか。
子どもの頃、庭でたらいに水をはり、行水したことを思い出す。
昔の家は、外から見えないような木の門塀があり、夏の日は、それを閉めて
家族で行水した記憶。
行水のあとは、井戸で冷やしたスイカを食べた。
今よりも夏が夏らしかった。
