今朝は雨が降っていたので、カレッジに着いた時に「雨が降っていて、一滴も濡れたくなかったので車の代わりに家ごと運転して来たよ」と冗談を言ってみましたが、誰にも通じませんでした。その後説明したのは一般に言われる“おじさんギャグ”についてです。そうしたら、みんなが笑いました。他の二人の友人に同じ冗談を言ってみたら、一人の友人は意味が分からないという表情、最後の一人がようやく理解してくれました。理解度を確かめるのが面白かったです。
It was raining when I left home this morning, then I told people "Since I didn't want to get wet by even a drop, I drove my house to get to the college instead of driving a car. I didn't wet." However, nobody understand what I said. After that, I explained about "humor" that is called Oyaji Gag in Japanese, then everybody laughed. After that, I told about my joke to two other friends. One friend totally didn't understand, but another friend laughed at my joke. I enjoyed watching people's response. Do you think it's funny what I said?
