2003年09月07日(日) ●Greetings to you all

Thank you very much for the phone-call yesterday,
which came as a pleasant surprise.
We are obviously glad you arrived home safely having enjoyed the party in Nagoya.

I am so glad that everything went to plan-apart
from the visit to Brussels-and that we all enjoyed the week so much.
The house seemed very empty and too quiet without you at home when we arrived back from the station.

We had been thinking of you both on your travels throughout Friday. The social function at the Sgts Mess was very good
and we enjoyed it better than last year's Battle of Britain celebration.

We are slowly but surely getting back to normal-if that is possible-with me beginning a new job tomorrow?

Junko left a hat at my Father's house and Yoshio left the Christmas cards; I will send them to you as soon as I get hold of them.

We are genki, and hope you are all genki too, especially Yuma!!

With love & regards always,

Richard & Ros'

しかし、わざわざ送ってもらうのも悪いので、その旨、返信。

珍道中の中間まとめのメールだった。
