It was Coming
About fifteen years ago, I frequently enjoyed going on a journey by a motorcycle with a camping tent. One time, during my journey alone, I joined up with my friend's group. Unfortunately, strong typhoon was approaching to Japan at that time; therefore we had to find a safe place where we could escape the terrible wind and rain. Presently, we found a nice place, so we were able to pitch camp under a roof. Although the wind became harder and harder, we were enjoying an unusual situation. We cooked and ate dinner, drank and then went into our sleeping bags. Late at night, nearly dawn, while we were sleeping deeply, we were suddenly awakened in the darkness. Nobody said a word, because everybody sensed something was coming at us. We couldn't move nor speak; we just concentrated on listening. Then I realized that whatever it was standing in front of my tent. However, the place was in the mountains and there was no other way in than the road we took. I couldn't imagine a human coming without being in a vehicle. It, the something, unexpectedly started to beat at my tent. The cloth of the tent bent in near my face. Then it went around my ent as it was beating. Next, it headed to my friend's tent and did the same thing. Then it left. My friend called my name. Since I didn't know that they were awake, my friend's calling relieved me. We got out of our tents to find out what "it" was, but we couldn't find anything! Needless to say, we left the area immediately and run like rabbits in the dawn.
